Shannon and Zach first met at an Ol Ags Date Party.  They had each brought their own dates, and were only briefly introduced. A few weeks later, Zach and Shannon shared their first dance (by chance).It wasn’t until 2 months later, at Chillfest, that the circumstances finally allowed them to connect, and they had their first conversations. They were smitten and Shannon was invited as Zach’s date for the next party! They were without question in love and now each other’s designated dates for every event.

After some time together,  Shannon one day found herself having a particularly long day at work.  She came home, a bit flustered from the day, to find dinner and flowers set at the table! Shannon was already very pleased with the gesture but was unaware there was more to the plan.  To her surprise, Zach whipped the ring box out right then and there, and asked Shannon to be together forever.  She said YES while still wearing her work uniform and a cute messy bun. A perfect evening they will never forget. 

Zach and Shannon chose Galveston, Texas for their engagement session location, and it was a perfect fit! The two were clearly at home on the rooftops and in the streets of one of their favorite cities. Wrapping the session on the beach after hitting the Galvez Hotel on the Seawall was a beautiful experience. The wind blew Shannon’s dress too loud to hear us well, which led to a sweet moment of them together like no one was watching.
