When Sidney’s brother and Matthew became roommates in college, Matthew and Sidney started to get to know eachother better and discovered the fondness they had for one another which developed into a wonderful journey. Despite long distance, their love grew and brought them together, even with many miles in between them. 

Matthew’s proposal could only be described as a scene straight outta The Notebook. He led Sidney through a Nicholas Sparks inspired scavenger hunt that included books with love letters stashed inside that would lead her to her next location. Each new clue was given to her by someone in her family, solidifying the fact that Matthew knew(and still knows) how important family is to Sidney. 

Matt and Sidney gathered all of their family and friends from near and far to the Magnolia Manor in Angleton, Texas. It was a magical day which included a light sprinkle of rain for good luck after their beautiful first look.
