Ab and Elisa wanted an experience of a lifetime shared with just a few family members and friends. They knew they wanted to have a destination wedding. Elisa having loved her previous visit to the “Land of Fire and Ice” and threw Iceland into the running. They finally landed on Hótel Búðir and The Búðakirkja, also known at the Black Church at Búðir on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. It was the perfect location.
It was a very “Iceland” day with lots of wind coming off the waves, and I don’t think it really truly ever stopped raining or misting but it gave the day a cozy romantic vibe. Elisa looked stunning in her long sleeve lace gown and the pair were just so happy. All of their planning and months of research and coordinating with family and friends finally came together for the best day ever.
Ryan and I felt so honored to have been Elisa and Ab’s wedding photographers. It is a day we will never forget.
