Malina was in college when she met Skylar. And though their connection was fun and witty at first, over the next 4 years their relationship bloomed and became something more. They grew closer and fell in love.

One day, Skylar arranged a private beachfront dinner for the two in the Dominican Republic. They walked barefoot in the sand to their romantic dinner of steak and lobster. Malina grew suspicious but their conversation was filled with their usual goofy banter so she didn’t know for sure if Skylar would pop the question. 

After dessert, Skylar took her by the hand and led her down a pathway to a romantic display of flowers and candles that spelled out “MARRY ME?” in the sand. 

Malina was overwhelmed! Tears flooded her eyes as Skylar dropped to one knee! She said, “YESSSSS”!
