In 2013, Kennedy and Jacob met for the first time at a church they both regularly attended. They started as friends who saw each other frequently at church, but soon realized that they had begun to develop feelings for one another, and began dating. On their three year anniversary, Jacob treated Kennedy to a picnic in a park in Houston. Kennedy’s intuition told her that something was about to happen, so she braced herself for what she had been hoping for: a proposal. Lucky for Kennedy, her gut was right. Jacob proposed to Kennedy in front of the iconic Water Wall.
Their wedding took place on a warm summer day in Freeport, TX, with rain threatening in the distance. The ceremony, which was led by their pastor, was a wonderful experience, and beautiful, too. The Freeport Heritage House was packed with family and friends who came to witness this couple and their love. For the portrait session, Kennedy and Jacob wanted to revisit the spot where we took their engagement photos. The clouds had moved off and the sun was setting, it was amazing!!
Thank you Kennedy and Jacob for giving me the chance to document your gorgeous, one-of-a-kind day!
