Brittany and Devin first met in church when we they were only about 5 or 6 years old. They were in the same Sunday school class and she remembers thinking that he was super cute in his little glasses. They didn’t go to the same schools after that, but never forgot each other. It wasn’t until after high school that the two reconnected and began dating the summer of 2014.
Guys, Devin’s proposal to Brittany seriously sounds like a scene out of a movie. While on a winter vacation in New York, Devin knew that he was going to propose to her but was waiting for the perfect private moment, which can be hard to find in busy New York City. The two finally found a moment alone in the famous Battery Park to take a break from sightseeing. With the Statue of Liberty in sight across the water, the two took in the romantic view from an intimate and cozy spot on a bench. All of a sudden with no warning, Devin moved from his spot on the bench and got down on one knee in front of Brittany. He pulled out a ring and asked her to marry him. Brittany said yes and just moments after, it began to snow! It will be a day they will never forget.
Devin and Brittany are two very sweet people. They met us in Canyon Lake, Texas for a unique lakeside engagement session on a warm summer day. The more we talked to these two the more I realized how blessed and excited I am to be working with them, we got along quickly! I can not wait for their winter Texas wedding later this year!
