This gorgeous summer wedding at Mae’s Ridge was one for the books! Jordyn & Marcus married on a beautiful sunny June day in 2021. The day was filled with lovely neutrals and sophisticated boho vibes but the real star of the show was the love that Jordyn and Marcus shared. You could tell in the way their friends cheered, their family smiled, and the way they held each other close that they share something special. We were so thrilled to be their wedding photographers and wish we could relive the day over and over!

The couple hosted their wedding just outside of Austin, Texas at a gorgeous new venue in Dripping Springs called Mae’s Ridge! As a wedding photographer, I love to photograph at new wedding venues for the first time. I often get asked by new couples if I have shot at their venue and if I haven’t, I am usually just as excited as if I have been there a bunch of times! I love having a new location to get creative with and guess what… if you have a professional you can trust them to choose the best spots for your photos (with the most flattering lighting)! My tip for other photographers is to arrive at the venue early and scout out your spots before the day begins! Mae’s Ridge had so many great options but I especially loved the lookout spot right before sunset-wow!

After the couple’s first dance, we stepped out for some sunset photos. The hilltop at Mae’s Ridge makes for some romantic light!
