Bryn and Courtney grew up in the same hometown. They went to the same schools, concerts, camps, football games, but when Bryn graduated high school the two lost touch.

It wasn’t till eight years later when at a mutual friend’s wedding, the two rekindled their friendship and planned their first date. On the night of Bryn’s sister’s wedding the two realized how naturally they got along. They knew that they wanted to be each other’s wedding dates forever!

A year later on their anniversary weekend Bryn invited Courtney to his family’s land to “enjoy the nice weather.” Courtney expected to see him working with the cows, but much to her surprise, Bryn walked out of his family’s camp house looking sharp and all dressed up. As he walked toward her She quietly thought, “This is it! It is happening.” Bryn led her to the patio of the camp house, and began to share his love for Courtney! Completely in shock Bryn got down on one knee and Courtney said yes! He even went the extra mile and invited their families who arrived shortly after to celebrate their engagement! It was a dream come true, a complete surprise, and a perfect evening!

On the land where they got engaged and spent so many summers on the river growing up, we met up with Bryn and Courtney for their engagement session. This has to be one of our favorite locations for a shoot. The tall green grass and the cute cows made it so fun and unique. Courtney and Bryn are absolutely adorable and were up for anything! We can not wait to shoot their October wedding this year! <3
