One of the best things about being a Texas wedding photographer is when you get to see a friend from your hometown get married in the beautiful Hill Country. It’s happened a few times before, keep them coming, and we are so thankful for that.
Caylie and Jake’s love story actually began in the Hill Country, at the Frio River to be exact, years back. They locked eyes across the clear water, and though they were young and lived far away, through the years they would always found a way back together.
Fast forward to their wedding day. Jake brought his family from Hondo, Texas and Caylie brought her’s from Lake Jackson, Texas which made the big state feel a little smaller that day. Caylie and Jake said their vows under the live oak trees and danced the night away in the Eagle Dancer Ranch barn. It felt right, everyone was family, it felt like Texas!
Caylie and Jake, we were honored to have been there and even more to be your photographers. The way your families welcomed us into the day made us forgot we were “vendors”. You two for lack of a better word, are so “yourselves” when you are together it is amazing and it shows. Your love is real and warm. I hope you continue this journey with all the love and happiness there is to be had. Thank you.
