Amber and Ross have always been up for the adventure…
Ross introduced himself to Amber out of a class of over 200 people and captured her heart within a semester. Amber took a leap of faith on a boy who she knew nothing about…
Once the two began dating they bonded over their love and hope of traveling the world. Ross was already busy being a firefighter, but he picked up a job at Delta just to get them one step closer to their dream. Ross soon surprised Amber with a trip to Europe. It was on that trip that he proposed to Amber in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris and also where the two began the next step of their adventure. To those close to them, it was no surprise when their save the dates said “Grand Lake, Colorado” as the location. Nestled in the Colorado Rockies, the couples invited their closest family and friends for an intimate mountain wedding.
1000 miles away and a good 20 degrees cooler from where they first met, the bride and groom anticipated their wedding. High up into the mountains in a small Rocky Mountain town, sat the Grand Lake Lodge… a perfect place for a wedding. Overlooking a crystal blue lake, Ross and Amber recounted their vows before family and friends. Right there on the hill top, they promised forever and their love to each other.

Smiles and butterflies were a plenty as everyone laughed over an italian dinner at Mustachio’s on the Lake.
Cheers and a kiss!
The next day was their wedding day! The two got ready at Grand Lake Lodge.
After the cake cutting, the two slipped down to the lake for some golden hour photos!
Grand Lake lodge happened to have a vintage fire truck… which we had to take a photo with(Ross is a Firefighter)!
The night was filled with sweet treats, campfires, dancing, and fun!
Bubble exit and a kiss!
A special thanks.. Amber and Ross. Wow. Where do I begin? There are not enough “thank yous” or hugs that I can give you to explain how incredibly thankful I am for you both. Your wedding was life changing for not only you both and your families, but for me too. Thank you for being the first couple to trust me enough to send me on my first destination wedding. Thank you for broadening my horizons, expanding my knowledge and strength, and for testing my confidence. Thank you for having the faith and trust in me. Thank you for allowing me to see the Colorado and the Rocky Mountains for the first time. Thank you to your parents, siblings, and friends who made us feel welcome. Because of you, I have become a stronger photographer and person. Thank you for inviting Ryan and I to document your first day as husband and wife. Your devotion to eachother and the love you give to all you meet is truly remarkable. I truly believe your love left Colorado better than you found it. All the love to you both, Kelly
