Becca and Jonathan met in Austin while attending college.  One of the first things they bonded over was their love of scary movies.  On their first date, they agreed that they would be each other’s scary movie buddy.  Their ideal date night is an evening at home where they team up to bake pizza in their stone oven while share a few glasses of wine over a good movie.  

In 2017,  Becca and Jonathan attended their annual ski trip to Lake Tahoe.  On the first day, Jonathan had planned a sunset proposal.  He planned a walk which would culminate in the a beautiful spot overlooking the lake with the sun setting on the horizon.  When they got to the chosen spot,  the sun hadn’t set quite enough.  So, they waited for the sunset, with Becca only being slightly suspicious he was about to propose.  When the sun finally set, he dropped a knee and asked her to marry him.  She said yes!

We met Becca and Jonathan in Houston, Texas under one of my favorite neighborhoods with the tallest oaks for an afternoon engagement session.  We were all surprised to find such beautiful nature right in the middle of the 4th largest metro area in the USA. Becca and I were in Choir together and it was so nice to catch up and see how wonderful her life is going with Jonathan by her side. The couple is the coolest y’all and I can not wait for their wedding next Spring!
