Elisa and Ab live in North Texas but wanted to have an experience of a lifetime to kick off their journey together as husband and wife! So what did they do… they decided to have an intimate wedding in Iceland with all their closest friends and family!

We were honored to go along and to capture not only their destination wedding in Iceland but to also capture a few couples photos the day we landed. Oh yeah, we normally would be a little tired but the crisp Fall air and the breathtaking views of Iceland made us feel alive!

We decided to drive straight from the Airbnb in Reykjavík to Reynisfjara Beach also known as The Black Sand Beach in Vik. It was a once in a lifetime experience!

It also so windy and cold this day! There were also a few cold drops of water coming up from the ocean but we still had the best time – the promise of a hot chocolate after helped too! Little tip: There is a coffee shop at the beach parking lot-go there after for a whipped cream topped hot chocolate! Also there is a restaurant called Sudur Vik nearby that serves amazing curry (random but amazing)!
