It all started in 6th grade art class…
McCall knew Dane as being one of her best friend’s “annoying neighbors”. Dane would tease McCall and tell her that she had “weird bangs and wore her silly soccer jacket wayyy too much”. So ladies, we all know what that means… Dane had a crush on McCall. 🙂
It took a couple of years for that teasing to turn into friendship and then a relationship. The two began dating their last two years of high school. After going their separate ways and spending some time apart in college, thankfully, their story wasn’t over just yet and their paths were brought back together. Right where they were meant to be!
Fast forward to Cabo. Thats right, Cabo! The two were on vacation with McCall’s mom and grandma for a fun graduation trip. McCall and Dane were very much in love and even set a date a few months later to go ring shopping together… So in McCall’s mind, any sign of a proposal was many months away. The couple was posing for a photo when Dane surprised McCall and popped the question. Her initial response was “OH MY GOSH” followed by a very enthusiastic “UH HUH!”. And yes, she loves her ring!
I met McCall and Dane out at the Texas Hill Country wedding venue, Camp Lucy where, come September, they will be saying their “I Do’s”. We had a ton of fun catching up (I know the couple from High School) and taking on the crazy wind that day. McCall and Dane, thank you for having me as your wedding and engagement photographer. I am so excited to play a small part in your wonderful journey toward becoming husband and wife! Hair Make-up and Styling by Michaela Berlanga @ Urban Eve.
