Cheyenne and Callen were highschool sweethearts. Callen was able to capture Cheyenne’s attention by playing with her hair everyday in english class. What started out a playful gesture led to the two of them growing closer, and eventually their relationship blossomed. Callen and Cheyenne dated throughout high school and college, attending Brazoswood High School and Texas A&M University respectively. Soon after graduating from A&M, their careers brought them to Bartlesville, Oklahoma where they made lifelong friends and threw down fresh roots.
In April of 2016, Callen took Cheyenne on a trip to Broken Bow, Oklahoma, bringing back feelings of nostalgia for her previous vacations there with her family. Callen decided it was the perfect place and time to propose. That evening, they were preparing for a routine dinner date when Callen quickly set up a romantic scene while Cheyenne got dressed. He lit up the fireplace and then hid a camera in the room to make sure he had her priceless reaction on camera. When Cheyenne finally emerged, she found Callen down on one knee with a ring in his hand. In the moment, Cheyenne was so excited that she forgot to say yes right away! (Of course she said yes)
For their wedding, Callen and Cheyenne knew that they wanted something different. The two wanted a fun, beautiful and unique experience for not only the day of the wedding, but for an entire weekend spent with their closest family and friends in paradise. Callen and Cheyenne have always been adventurous but at the same time, are laid back. They knew that Mexico would be the perfect place for them to begin their new journey. Just 40 minutes down the coast from Cancún the couple exchanged vows on a rooftop overlooking the clear blue Caribbean Sea. From the ceremony with a light ocean breeze to the epic dance party lit by a full moon, every perfect moment was made better being in the middle of paradise and with their 17 honored guests. Cheyenne and Callen said that it was exactly what they had envisioned and dreamed of.
Callen and Cheyenne, there are almost no words. We can not thank you enough for this wonderful experience. Your wedding day showed us that no matter where you are, as long as you have each other and your favorite people with you, you are right at home.
