Of all the girls in San Marcos, Texas, she stood out. Of all the “bright as Texas” smile wearing brown eyed girls…Sydney stood out! Daniel was determined to really meet Sydney because Sydney is the type of girl who enters a room and instantly changes the feel. She’s bright, positive, and always leaves a good impression. And as Daniel noticed right away, she is gorgeous! As study groups and routes to class soon overlapped, the two began taking an interest in each other.
As Daniel and Sydney began to see each other more, the two became serious. Both accounting students, the two started realizing that their equation could not be solved without the other. When Daniel proposed, Sydney happily agreed to marry one of the sweetest men she had ever encountered.
On an surprisingly cool day in San Marcos, Texas, I met up with Sydney and Daniel to take their engagement photos! We hiked, crossed over paths, and were attacked by SO many mosquitoes….but Sydney and Daniel were up for the challenge and made it so much fun! These two are seriously the cutest and coolest. I am that much more excited for their wedding in early July! It is going to be the BEST wedding ever.

During their time in San Marcos the two have enjoyed the beautiful and lush nature trails of San Marcos, Texas. Purgatory Creek park is where they spent time hiking and enjoying some fresh air.

Sydney and Daniel just graduated from Texas State University this past May with degrees in accounting. Daniel received his Masters while Sydney received her Bachelor’s… The cutest part is that they were a part of the same commencement ceremony! The next ceremony they will be apart of is their wedding day!
In the trails, we found a patch of wildflowers…Sydney and Daniel were in them before I even said anything!
One of the top reasons that I love being a San Marcos, Texas wedding photographer is that I get to shoot in all beautiful sorts of nature!
