It started with a silly college class..

Clint and Madison met while taking the same required college course. Both were slightly bored classmates, but they were too very different people. His first words spoken to her were when he asked to borrow a pencil. Soon they became class friends and ended up with each other’s numbers. As time would have it, long distance came before any sparks. Clint went to TSTC in Waco, and Madison, Alvin Community College, to pursue their college careers. Not expecting anything to come to pass, the two still remained in contact. A random text here and there became a talk on the phone, a random talk on the phone became a talk on the phone 3 times a week….and the hour long phone calls turned into long distance dating. They began to fall for each other and when the long distance ended, the more in love they became.

In December, the two went to one of Madison’s favorite places ever, Kemah Boardwalk. The carnival lights shined brighter than ever, twinkling with vibrant Christmas spirit. They walked hand in hand admiring the sights and sounds. After a while, Madison realized that the two were walking in circles. Clint was looking nervous. Eventually, they walked to the main square where there was a beautiful towering Christmas tree lit up with glittering lights. They just had to take a photo. As a clueless Madison posed for a photo, Clint unexpectedly gave her a kiss on the cheek and got down on one knee. Right there in the middle of the cheerful crowds and lights, Clint asked Madison to marry him. She said, YES!

Our engagement shoot at Varner Hogg Plantation in West Columbia, Texas was one for the books. It was so sweet-the two are the perfect pair and lit up each other’s faces. I can not wait for their wedding this Fall!
