Michael and Carly grew up in the same town and even went to the same high school, but they never really had a chance to connect. Through mutual friends while both attending Texas A&M University, the two started to spend more time together….both quietly noticing a fondness for each other.
After graduation, Michael moved to Colorado to pursue a Master’s degree, Carly moved to DC then internationally for work. Their time apart was long in miles and months, but Carly remained close in Michael’s heart. Years later when Michael returned to Texas, the two reconnected, recognized their need for each other, and began dating.
This past summer, Michael invited Carly to his family’s get together in Missouri. Carly arrived to the Missouri airport after a late flight, her bag lost…she didn’t know that her day was about to take the biggest turn for the best! Michael knew this was the moment and got down on one knee airport and asked Carly to spend their eternity together. With the brightest smile, Carly said yes!

Carly emailed me saying that they both love the outdoors and wanted to incorporate that in their shoot. Brazos Bend State Park, besides a plethora of alligators has gorgeous live oak trees…a perfect spot.
A true Texas engagement session complete with a Texas girl and Spanish Moss.
The couple are proud owners of Aggie rings, the place where their story began.
Carly’s gorgeous hair and make-up was done by the talented gals at Blushworthy!
