It all started on a warm summer day. It was a friend’s birthday celebration on a party boat in the middle of Lake Austin. In the midst of the fun and lake views, Alex saw the prettiest girl with the biggest smile, and with the help of some “liquid courage”, he walked up to Lauren and stuck up conversation. Friends faded in and out of their conversation but nothing could distract them as they spent the majority of the afternoon getting to know one another. He just couldn’t pull away from her smile. 

Fast forward, Alex and Lauren are much in love. Both Alex and Lauren love anything and everything outdoors and with the two having busy schedules they decided that a trip to Enchanted Rock would be the perfect little getaway.  It was the perfect early drive through the Texas Hill Country and a rejuvenating hike, but just when they got to the summit, Alex dropped down on one knee and asked Lauren to marry him! Lauren’s parents even surprised Lauren by documenting the entire thing. “We were in our environment with nothing but raw natural beauty in the background… it was simply perfect!”- Lauren 

I met Lauren and Alex out at Pedernales Falls State Park. I could tell these two were no strangers to the outdoors we we climbed, hiked, and leaped over water to find the best spot all while in dress clothes! The sweetest moments were when Alex would lead the way for Lauren, finding the best route, but he would wait to make sure she safety made it over rocks and tricky steps. SO CUTE! Guys, I had the best time with y’all! You seriously made this shoot your own and I was fortunate to tag along and get to know you two adorable people!
